The DOA Foundation was founded by Tim Beier, the CEO of Bearpaw, in 2019 and has been one of our heart projects ever since. The foundation is designed for the social sector and cares for children/youth, students and their education. The name of the DOA Foundation stands for the people who taught Tim as founder the values of responsibility, commitment, perseverance and the principle of "give and take" in life - his mother Dorothea, his grandpa Oskar and his grandma Annelotte. The DOA Foundation aims to pass on to young people the attitude that with the right commitment and a non-negotiable steadfastness, you can achieve anything in life. If the people around us are doing well, then we are doing well too.

The Bearpaw team cooperates with the start-up Buckle & Seam from Berlin and dedicates the products of the cooperation to the DOA foundation. The foundation deals with children and young people who have lost faith in themselves. DOA Foundation believes that everyone has the strength and ability to lead a free and self-determined life.
From the total sales of the DOA Collection 3% is donated directly to the donation account of the DOA Foundation. These donations are used for various actions to make the world a better place for children and young people as well as students. Learn more about the current projects of the foundation.
