The Horsebow

The horsebows stands out! Its shape is unusual compared to other bows and much shorter. There is a good reason for this: the bow was specially designed to be able to shoot from the horse. In this case, the archer sits on the horse and does not have much space, so the short shape is very important. This is to avoid touching or obstructing the horse while shooting. The bow is also easy to transport because it is compact and therefore fits in the saddlebags. Especially for this type of archery, we have many equestrian bows in the range.

The right arrows

The choice of the appropriate arrow depends on several factors. In general, light and short arrows with natural feathers are more suitable for use from the horse. A good arrow should be made of high-quality material, such as carbon or aluminum. These materials are particularly resistant and torsion-resistant, which ensures high precision and flight stability. When choosing, you should also pay attention to the appropriate length and spine to achieve the best possible experience. Of course, it's also up to your taste which arrows suit you and your equipment. Many riders also rely on wooden arrows. We give you a selection at hand.

YOU WANT INDIVIDUAL ARROWS? NO PROBLEM!

The right equipment

Your arrows must be quickly at hand and safely stowed. You also have to make sure that the quiver fits you and your horse. Some horses are afraid of the rattling arrows. We recommend side or holster quivers. You can easily attach the side quiver to your belt and have your arrows quickly at hand. An alternative to the side quiver is the back quiver. Here we recommend a simple design. A large compartment and your arrows are well kept. When selecting the entire equipment, including archery glove and armguard, we recommend a high quality material. Leather has a long durability and is very robust.
